Rapsodo Inc. is a sports analytics company that uses computer vision and machine learning to help all athletes maximize their performance. Our proprietary technology applications range from helping PGA Tour golfers optimize their launch conditions to allowing MLB pitchers to increase the efficiency on their breaking balls. Current partners include all 30 MLB teams, USA Baseball, SkyGolf, Mizuno, Golf Digest, AJGA, and 75% of NCAA baseball programs.

The Associate Brand Manager, Golf is the marketing point person for the Rapsodo Golf brand and products. They are a key player on the marketing team, responsible for driving marketing planning and execution. A highly collaborative player, this individual should be strategic, creative and focused on building differentiated ideas and programs that deliver on brand, product and channel goals. They will be well versed in marketing initiatives that drive results (web, email, events, trade show, PR, research, marketing trends, etc.) and will analyze past performances, look for opportunities and prioritize initiatives that will have the greatest impact on growing the brand and retaining customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for managing the execution of initiatives that fulfill the corporate strategy of Rapsodo’s Golf business 
  • Contributes to the development of the Golf marketing strategy 
  • Coordinates product launches across multiple teams 
  • Collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure proper execution and brand success of all golf marketing initiatives 
  • Manages the execution of all golf sponsorships and partnerships agreements 
  • Identifies and coordinates agreements with golf influencers including YouTube, Podcasts, etc.  
  • Manage the coordination and execution of all golf events and trade shows 
  • Supports brand integrity through the development and implementation of marketing elements (messaging, visuals, UX) 
  • Stays current on industry trends, consumer needs, competitive landscape, and seeks to understand changing market dynamics 
  • Creates and executes a golf blog schedule to showcase thought leadership across a variety of topics 
  • Ensures website content and visuals are current and fresh 
  • Analyzes, tracks and reports on golf marketing performance 
  • Effectively leads, plans, coordinates and communicates marketing projects and initiatives to internal stakeholders 
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders including vendors, partners and agencies to execute marketing plans and initiatives 
  • Performs other job duties as assigned 
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • BS/BA required 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
  • 4+ years of experience in Marketing, Brand & Portfolio Management, Product Development.  
  • 2+ years of CPG marketing experience 
  • Self-starter with a strong desire to learn 
  • Action-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Working Relationships & Environment

  • Reports to Director of Marketing 
  • Key relationships internally will include Director of GolfGolf Team, Product Managers, Marketing Associates, Website and UX Team
