Human Resources Generalist

Rapsodo Inc. is a sports analytics company that uses computer vision and machine learning to help all athletes maximize their performance. Our proprietary technology applications range from helping PGA Tour golfers optimize their launch conditions to allowing MLB pitchers to increase the efficiency of their breaking balls. Current partners include all 30 MLB teams, MLB, USA Baseball, Golf Digest, PGA of America, and over 1000 NCAA athletic departments.

As Rapsodo continues to grow and expand our business internationally, we are looking for a hands-on, driven, and empathetic Junior Human Resources Generalist with a passion for collaborating and making a difference.

The successful incumbent will run day-to-day activities that are related to employee relations and recruitment.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to engage internal and external stakeholders effectively. To succeed in this role, you also need to have superior attention to detail, high resiliency and adaptability within a growing and fast-paced environment, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

  • Their primary responsibilities include offering counseling services to employees, participating in the recruitment process.
  • Performing employee background checks and verifying information.
  • Explains company compensation and benefits programs, such as medical, insurance, retirement, and savings plans, and enrolls workers in specified programs
  • Arrange for employee activities
  • Collecting and analyzing employee data. Organizing and updating employee files.
  • Representing the company at job fairs and college campuses.
  • Execute employee onboarding, offboarding, and ensuring support to new and existing employees in the process
  • Provide effective and insightful data and reports to aid and improve hiring objectives
  • Sourcing, screening, and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. Also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionals.
  • Build knowledge of competitor institutions using market data and make informed hiring decisions
  • Perform sourcing for the active positions as well as creating, building, and maintaining a healthy pipeline of potential candidates to fill future anticipated and planned roles
  • Bachelor Degree holder. Business Management, Sociology, History, Literature, or Anthropology majors preferred
  • 2-3 years of working experience in a related field
  • Good understanding of the full recruitment process
  • Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Resourceful and empathetic problem-solver with strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously across functional lines within a matrix environment
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous and pro-active
  • Excellent organizational skills are needed
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multi-cultural organization
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Lives in Izmir or willing to relocate
