JOB DESCRIPTION

The Ecommerce Manager is responsible for the development, management and execution of Rapsodo’s Ecommerce business strategy across customer websites, online marketplaces and the direct-to-consumer channel via Rapsodo.com. The incumbent will closely partner internally to deliver best-in-class digital experiences to achieve brand and business goals. Additionally, the Ecommerce Manager will employ a highly data-driven approach to continually optimize the effectiveness of digital storefronts in order to grow revenue and enhance profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop Rapsodo’s Ecommerce channel strategy and lead its execution to improve the user experience, enhance business results and increase customer satisfaction
  • Develop and execute merchandising strategies across customer websites, online marketplaces (i.e. Amazon) and company-owned website based on assessment of the online retail space, available performance data, and business unit goals
  • Manage day-to-day Rapsodo.com operations, including updating product information, releasing new products, and updating site creative or assets to support ongoing campaigns.
  • Maintain product listing integrity across all Ecommerce platforms; work with brand teams to develop necessary content to achieve best-in-class digital experiences
  • Manage and collaborate with internal teams to optimize UX/UI and digital layouts
  • Responsible for content management, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and technical deployment support; Identify key business opportunities and partner on strategic enhancements/upgrades of systems
  • Lead the development of a CRO testing roadmap and A/B experimentation framework, execute tests against the roadmap, and report on experiment results
  • Track overall website performance and manage all aspects of testing on the site, including test ideation, scheduling, coordination, execution, tracking and reporting
  • Help to manage, build, test, and optimize landing pages and product pages to achieve brand and business goals; partner closely on performance marketing initiatives in order to maximize ROAS
  • Partner on consumer segmentation efforts across CRM efforts to develop actionable consumer insights, support segment level contact plans, actively monitor user experience flows to drive engagement, retention, and conversions
  • Be the internal subject matter expert on best SEO practices and ensure digital content is optimized for Search
  • Provide forecast insights to internal partners to ensure adequate supply chain planning and on-time delivery
  • Partner with Customer Care to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Provide thought leadership and collaborate with colleagues to develop and evolve Rapsodo’s Ecommerce platform as best in class
  • Maintain and leverage 3rd party vendor relationships as required
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Ecommerce sales, working with Ecommerce platforms and content management systems
  • Experience with third party Marketplace environments, such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and channel management platforms preferred
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and site/page tagging required
  • Experience using Google Analytics required, Google Analytics Certified a plus
  • History of using a data-driven approach to enhance Ecommerce conversion rates strongly preferred
  • SEO experience preferred
  • Basic HTML experience a plus
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing tasks; while effectively pivoting to manage changing priorities
  • Able to clearly and concisely communicate findings and regular updates for Ecommerce to internal management teams
  • Ability to work independently and in a highly collaborative, global team environment
  • Strong work ethic and passion for both speed and simplicity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills when faced with uncertainty and incomplete information
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple activities and assignments simultaneously
