Email Marketing Associate

We are currently looking for a marketing associate to join our team in St. Louis, MO. The Rapsodo marketing associate will manage all email marketing activities. You will be responsible for helping to develop email marketing strategy, build journeys, email execution and automation using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Responsible for ongoing Salesforce Marketing Cloud operations, which include content development, journey building, QA testing, automation implementation, and post-campaign reporting.
  • Supports the development and implementation of all short and long-term email strategies for customer acquisition, retention and reactivation
  • Oversees the day-to-day execution, optimization and analysis of our email marketing program
  • Analyzes results and identifies opportunities for testing and optimization
  • Runs A/B tests and apply learnings to future emails to improve conversion
  • Examines email strategies of key competitors and the overall industry to understand emerging trends
  • Builds, optimizes, and measures performance of email marketing campaigns – including engagement programs, behaviorally-triggered campaigns, email templates, forms customer lists, and others – to drive revenue and customer engagement
  • Manage email marketing and messaging content calendar and coordinate marketing activities across multiple, concurrent campaigns to be sure we are meeting requirements around customer touch points
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to prioritize and execute marketing programs
  • Own marketing KPI reporting, analytics and insights and communicate to broader team
  • Motivated self-starter with high integrity, enthusiasm, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills and strong attention to detail, with demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously from conception through to completion, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met
  • A passion for sports and the ability to roll up your sleeves and take ownership of your responsibilities
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express complex ideas, results and areas of opportunities (both verbally and written)
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills to develop and test new ideas
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud and marketing automation tool knowledge preferred
  • Candidate must be located in St. Louis, MO or willing to relocate at their own expense
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of work experience in social media marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with analytic tools Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Twitter Analytics, etc.
  • Experience with collaboration tools Sharepoint and Trello
  • Knowledge of SEO preferred
  • Knowledge of baseball, softball, and/or golf preferred
  • College degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant field
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio and Social Studio) strongly preferred
