A Game-Changing Update for Rapsodo PRO 2.0 Softball Users 

Softball training just leveled up. PRO 2.0 Softball has just launched its newest feature: Live-on-Live.  

The newest addition to the Softball ecosystem lets coaches and athletes capture and analyze pitching and hitting data simultaneously — all in real time.  

Whether you’re in a bullpen, batting practice, or live scrimmage, you’ll see exactly how every pitch performs against every swing. 

Softball Live-on-Live is included for all PRO 2.0 Softball users.  

What Is Live-on-Live? 

Live-on-Live is a powerful new feature built into the Rapsodo Softball app that merges pitch flight and batted ball data into a single, synchronized view.  

Using one PRO 2.0 device and an iPad, you can evaluate performance from both the plate and the mound without switching sessions or juggling devices. 

All data syncs seamlessly in the Rapsodo Softball app during the session and in the Rapsodo Cloud afterward, so you can review, share, and compare results anytime. 

Note: Live-on-Live is only available for Softball via the PRO 2.0. For Baseball users interested in Live-on-Live, check out the PRO 3.0. 

How It Works 

1.) Set Up Once. Capture Both. 

Start a Live-on-Live session through the Rapsodo Softball app. The PRO 2.0 will automatically track both the pitching metrics (spin rate, break, approach angles) and hitting metrics (exit velocity, launch angle, distance) in a single workflow. Hit by hit. Pitch by pitch. 

2.) Real-Time Feedback. 

See complete results for each pitch and hit about 8–10 seconds after each rep, fast enough for live adjustments and efficient practice. 

3.) Review in the Rapsodo Cloud. 

All results are automatically tagged and uploaded to the Rapsodo Cloud for later review, analysis, and reporting.
