The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) and Rapsodo are gearing up for a three-year partnership.
This partnership is a perfect match as both organizations, Rapsodo and the AJGA, share similar goals in improving player development.
The AJGA is a "501 nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf."
Rapsodo will be in attendance at 10 Junior-Am Fundraising tournaments each year. At these tournaments, Rapsodo will have a booth setup and have product giveaways on the course for participants to test the devices and get real-time stats on their golf game.
This partnership offers a 20% discount accessible in the Player Center to AJGA members and their families to use toward the Rapsodo Mobile Launch Monitor (MLM).
“Rapsodo devices on-site at AJGA events will help take our Junior-Am Fundraising tournaments to the next level,” AJGA Chief Business Officer Jason Etzen said. “Being able to offer this kind of analysis and feedback to our members and supporters will be a great benefit.”
Rapsodo has made an immense impact in the diamond sports sector. All 30 MLB clubs use the PITCHING 2.0 and HITTING 2.0.
The company hopes to be equally impactful in the golf industry with the latest golf product - the MLM.
The MLM provides professional accuracy for shot distance, ball speed, club speed, launch angle, launch direction and shot shape. This allows players a chance to analyze their performance, compare it with peers, and improve their game with video, shot tracer and ball flight metrics.
