How Rapsodo utilizes Pitching data
Pitch speed is a measurement of how fast a given ball is thrown as it leaves a pitcher’s hand. Baseball pitchers can see the pitch velocity of a thrown ball in the Rapsodo PITCHING 2.0 app or on the Rapsodo Cloud.
The Rapsodo PITCHING 2.0 unit has baseball pitching analysis software that measures pitch data using camera and radar technology. In addition to pitch velocity, PITCHING 2.0 gathers data on spin rate, spin efficiency, pitch break, spin direction and more.
Not sure where your athletes should fall with their pitch velocity or other pitching data points? We have collected data from millions of pitches on our Rapsodo PITCHING 2.0 technology and have taken that data to develop a pitch velocity by age data guide.
Our Pitching Averages by Age Guide provides a player development pathway for baseball pitchers from ages 10 to professional. Baseball pitchers can see how they stack up against their peers and can get on track to take their game to the next level!

“Everyone involved with teaching pitchers this day and age could benefit from owning the Rapsodo device and using it for immediate feedback to educate their pitchers.’’
