Yes. Rapsodo Golf Mobile App is a brand-new app, available in the App Store and Google Play. The previous MLM2PRO app doesn't work with the MLM2XPRO.

In the app, go to Settings → App Settings → Contact Support or you can reach out to us through our Contact Us Page.

  1. Place it 7.5 feet (2–3 paces) behind the ball on a flat surface.
  2. Align it with your target line.
  3. Put the ball inside the orange hitting area to get club data.
  4. Use the level indicator on the alignment screen. Continue unlocks when the device is level.

You need at least 8 feet from the ball to the net, plus 7.5 feet behind the ball for the device: a little more than 15 feet in total. Taller players may need to place the device further back to capture their entire swing video.

Place the device the same way, 7.5 feet behind the ball. Set Handedness to Left Handed under Settings → Player Settings. The device uses this setting for its swing camera view.

Yes. Open Alignment: it shows a live camera view from the device with the hitting area. Place the ball inside the orange hitting area and use the level indicator until Continue unlocks. The alignment screen shows two live camera views, so it needs a steady Wi-Fi connection. If the picture freezes, move the device closer to your router, or try the other connection type.

Solid red means the device is on and ready to connect. On the MLM2XPRO, a slowly pulsing white light means a firmware update is being installed: leave the device on until it finishes. After a firmware update, wait until the light is solid red again before using it.

The small display on the device shows:

  • Normal screen: a battery icon with the percentage, and a connection icon below it. Shot data appears in the app, not on the device.
  • Battery icon: a white fill is normal; a red fill means the battery is low (below 15%). A small bolt means it's charging
  • Connection icon: an animated icon means it's connecting; arcs mean it's connected over your Wi-Fi (more arcs = stronger signal); a dot with arcs on both sides means Direct Connection; a gray icon with a red slash means it isn't connected, so reconnect from the app.
  • Battery and bolt picture for about 3 seconds: you plugged in the charger.
  • A circle that fills: you're holding the power button. Keep holding until it's complete to turn off; release early to cancel.
  • A line with tick marks: the leveling screen. Tilt the device in the direction of the arrow until the marks turn green.
  • A ring with a percentage: a firmware update is installing. Don't turn the device off; it restarts at 100%.

The screen is blank while the device is off or asleep. If it stays blank after you hold the power button, charge the device and try again.

The MLM2XPRO the following metrics: Carry, Total Distance, Side Carry, Ball Speed, Club Speed, Smash Factor, Launch Angle, Launch Direction, Apex, Descent Angle, Spin Rate, Spin Axis, Attack Angle and Club Path.

The device measures Ball Speed, Launch Angle, Launch Direction, Club Speed, Attack Angle and Club Path, plus Spin Rate and Spin Axis with an RPT ball. Smash Factor, Carry, Total Distance, Apex, Descent Angle and Side Carry are calculated from those measurements and your elevation.

The MLM2XPRO works with any type of golf ball for ball speed, launch and carry. For measured spin rate and spin axis, use an RPT ball indoors and select it in Session Setup. RPT balls help deliver a truer shot shape compared with what you would see on the course.

You can purchase RPT golf balls from Titleist or Callaway exclusively through Rapsodo.com.

Yes - GSPRO, E6, Awesome Golf, The Stack and others are available to use with MLM2XPRO. 

To use:

  1. Connect your device and align it.
  2. On the Play tab, tap the partner under 3rd Party. The app shows a License Code you can copy, and authenticates your device with the partner.
    When you see "Authentication Successful", open the partner app to play.

Partner apps need internet and a membership. The GSPro connection process hasn't changed with the new app.
