Seems that the Rapsodo misses more shots using the RTP balls. Overall the misses are less than 5% of the time. Spin data does show draw/fade shapes where non RTP balls do not. Lots of great info using these balls.

This is my second dozen and have them as a backup. I’m quite surprised that the first lasted as long after taking a lot of beatings against a net. To be honest, I’m still using my first dozen. With a few chips of the dots, here and there the MLM2 is still able to read the spin. And is giving me the same results in metrics as when they were new.

If you're buying the MLM2PRO, do yourself a favor and grab a box or two of these right away! My launch monitor only came with a sleeve of three, and I quickly got tired of retrieving them from the screen after every three shots. I tried to save money at first by using a ball stencil and a Sharpie to dot 12 of my own balls. It was a complete waste of time and money—the Sharpie wore off after just a few hits and left marks all over my clubs. I finally bought two boxes of these, and I only wish I’ve done it sooner. I’ve hit each ball around 100 times now, and there’s absolutely no sign of wear or fading. 10/10, would definitely buy again!

The balls seem to give the monitor good flight but they break down and lose their paint fairly fast. They do seem to make the sim more accurate especially to shot shaping. I just wish there were options that were a little more cost effective.

These Rapsodo Titleist Pro V1s are the best!! They track perfectly, and the equipment has NO ISSUES tracking the path of the ball. This is my fifth purchase of these golf balls, and they are well worth the price. I have tried to replicate the "design" of the spots on the ball, but the "replica" balls never track as well or as consistently as the real deal. If you are looking for golf balls that will correctly track with your equipment, spend the extra money and get the Rapsodo golf balls. Nothing else will get you the same results!!

They seem to wear out faster than my Calloway RPT balls. Other than that they’re better than the “ball dots”. Don’t waste your money on that. it would be ideal if these were the same price as the actual golf balls. This is a $20 premium - 40%. Way too much for some stickers. Last - get a budget option for when I have friends over.

Picks it up really well in my garage. don't even have the full space (only about 9 feet in front of the ball) but my son is really good at knowing his distances and he can call if it's short or left or right or if the ball will check beforehand... always seems to be pretty close to his reading.

The RPT Balls are great for better data accuracy. I wish they were a little more durable though… I cracked a couple in a relatively short time. The RPT balls seem to play similar to the non-RPT balls that they represent. You can use black vinyl dots or a marker to extend the life of the balls if the paint wears away.

Edges on the stickers wear very quickly and become sharp. Sharpened edges tear away at projector screens, sometimes as quickly as 1 range session. Love the MLM2 pro but these balls really damage my projector screen.

They track just as well as the Callaway balls that come with the MLM2 Pro. I’ve been hitting the same 3 Pro V’s for 5 weeks, and the dots are still largely in tact. These are perfect if you want accurate data and also want the Pro V1 feel. 10/10. Worth the money if you ask me.

I initially used the Callaway rpt balls because Titleist were not available. Since I play Pro V1 on the course, I was excited to order and use with the simulator. I'm not sure if its the production process or paint product. But the RPT marks on the Titleist seem to start wearing off after 2 sessions. The RPT mark lifespan seemed to be much longer with Callaway. However, feel and performance of the RPT Titleist did provide a more familiar course play for me.

I really like the rapsodo and it requires these balls. So of course I will purchase them to get the best results. However I do not like how quickly the dots wear out. It seems like an aftermarket application of dots to ball. I would think you’d be able to have the dots under the clear coat like the Titleist logo. The dots also leave marks on my impact screen. They are slight and hide a bit when projecting the image, but again this could probably be solved by having the dots below the clear coat

The balls wear out petty fast. I’d love for more elevations on the courses. They are too flat. Also, the graphics, even on max aren’t very good. I think it would be better if the graphics were more like awesome gold but with the actual courses. Basically, more cartoony is better to me if it can look more like the actual course and not impede performance.

Great balls, only downside is the Dot pattern wears off so quickly. Pattern being so close together doesn’t leave a lot of room to rotate and hit the ball without contacting the Dots with your club face, which results in the dots not lasting very long. Reducing and separating the RPT Dot pattern (if that’s possible) would greatly lengthen their life span. Not the best business model for Rapsodo but wild be a massive upgrade for this loyal mlm2pro golfer!

What is Spin Rate and Spin Axis?

Spin Axis - the axis that the ball spins on or the measure of the tilt of that axis. A positive Spin Axis means that it is tilted to the right (a slice or face for RH golfers). A negative Spin Axis means that is it tilted to the left (a draw or hook). 

Spin Rate - A golf ball's spin rate -- refers to the speed that it spins on its axis while in flight. It is measured in revolutions per minute (rpm). 

Are Titleist Balls with RPT included with purchase of MLM2PRO?

Yes, you will have your choice of either the Callaway Chrome Tour or the Titleist 2025 PRO V1 RPT three-sleeve of golf balls. You also have the ability to add a dozen(s) of either of the balls additional by adding them as a bundle.

Are Titleist® 2025 ProV1 Golf Balls with RPT the same as Titleist 2025 ProV1 Golf Balls?

Yes, it is the same golf ball. The specialized print design on the exterior of the RPT golf ball is the only difference. The RPT pattern is printed under the clear coat of the golf ball for durability purposes.

Are Titleist Balls with RPT included with purchase of MLM2PRO?

No, currently Titleist Golf Balls with RPT are not included in the initial purchase of an MLM2PRO. They are only available for purchase for $69.99/Dozen exclusively on Rapsodo® - Sports Performance & Analytics Technology.

What is the difference between a Titleist Ball with RPT ball and Titleist RCT ball?

The unique print pattern on the exterior of the Titleist RPT golf balls is specifically designed for compatibility with the built in Impact Vision camera on the MLM2PRO. This camera measures the spin rate and spin axis of the golf ball during the initial flight. The Titleist RCT (Radar Capture Technology) golf balls use a special core that allows radar-based launch monitors to measure the spin rate of the golf ball. Rapsodo Golf is working with Titleist to calibrate the MLM to be compatible to acquire a spin rate metric, when an RCT ball is used. 

Would a Titleist RCT ball provide spin measurement on a MLM2PRO?

No, RPT golf balls are required to provide a spin axis and spin rate measurement. 

Which is more accurate RPT or RCT golf balls?

RPT golf balls provide a precisely measured spin rate when paired with an MLM2PRO. Rapsodo Golf is currently working with Titleist to allow RCT golf balls to also display an accurate measured spin rate when used with an MLM. This feature is still being tested, but we hope to make it available soon.
Additionally, RPT golf balls (when paired with an MLM2PRO) also provide a spin axis measurement. The spin axis metrics will not be available on MLM units on account of the device’s design. This means every shot tracked by the MLM/RCT involve estimates of the curve and overall carry/side carry, Since the RPT golf ball provides both measured spin rate and spin axis, the metrics reported are extremely accurate for carry and curve.

Will I get spin rate and spin axis if I use a regular golf ball instead of the Titleist Golf Balls with RPT with the MLM2PRO?

An RPT™ Golf Ball is required to show measured spin numbers.
